A recent gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants explored themes Human Rights such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
